NUEVO SUBGENERO Y NUEVA ESPECIE DE AVISPA CAZADORA DE ARAÑAS (HYMENOPTERA: POMPILIDAE: AGENIELLINI: Ageniella) DE COLOMBIA

Resumen Se describe el subgénero y especie nueva Ageniella (Neotumagenia) amazonica (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae), con base en una hembra de Amazonas, Colombia. El nuevo subgénero se distingue de otros dentro del género principalmente por dos grandes tumositos o inflamaciones en la parte superior de la cabeza. Se ofrece una clave para los subgéneros de Ageniella.

Abstract A new subgenus and species of spider wasps is described in the genus Ageniella (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae) based on a female from the Amazon region of Colombia. The new subgenus is distinguished from related subgenera by two conspicuous tumosites on the head. A new key to subgenera of Ageniella is proposed.
